Hello! My name is Robin and I just moved to the Green Hills area.  Is there a group that meets early in the mornings - example MWF- say 5:30ish?

Every Tuesday at 5:30pm, the Athlete's House running store has a training run. Each run starts from the store and runs throughout the streets of Nashville. 1700 Portland Avenue, Nashville.

 

Every Tuesday at 6pm and  (new to 5K, seasoned vets, etc) will be meeting to either run their first 5K or try to improve their current 5K time. NRC meets every Wednesday evening and Saturday morning at Martin’s Barbecue. Martin’s is located at 7238 Nolensville Road in the heart of Nolensville. Our Wednesday evening runs begin at 6:15 with routes that range from 2 to 5 miles. If interested in this, please give Scott Alexander a call at 394-0821 for more information. Wednesday Spring Hill: Meet at La Hacienda at 6:30 PM for a 2-4 mile walk/run. We are a group of walkers and runners living in and around Spring Hill. We meet on Wednesday evenings at 6:30pm at the La Hacienda parking lot. Our route typically takes us through the Campbell Station neighborhood for 2 - 4 miles. You choose how far and how fast. We all have different goals and different backgrounds but we all want to stay healthy and encourage others to do the same. Come join us...it's free!

Thursdays reoccurring at 5:30 a.m. The Thursday Morning Club, an assembly of friends from our Nashville Running Community, meets at the Belle Meade Blvd. entrance to Percy Warner Park, where everyone enjoys five minutes of social time in preparation for a fun run. The typical distance is 6.2 miles, but there are cut-off points for shorter distance runners. For more aggressive runners there are add-on opportunities. Some runners are slow, some are fast, some are male, some are female; that's a good thing - and a fun thing. No one runs alone unless by choice. The morning run is completed after a few minutes of stretching while enjoying an enthusiastic band of fellowship and friendship back at the Park on what we call the “The Stretching Wall”. Participants’ ages range from the 20’s to the 70’s. Everybody is welcome, and new participants are actively recruited. Request for inclusion on the weekly e-mail distribution list are simple, just contact Roland Jones at rjones@rolandjonesonline.com.

Saturday 7:30 a.m. run is hosted by Nolensville Running Club. The Nolensville Running Club (NRC) was formed in 2010 and consists of runners/walkers of all different skill levels/paces. NRC meets every Wednesday evening and Saturday morning at Martin’s Barbecue. Martin’s is located at 7238 Nolensville Road in the heart of Nolensville. The Saturday morning run will begin at 7:30 during the summer months with routes ranging from 2 to 6 miles. NRC has a group of runners who like to get in a few more miles before the 7:30 start time so we will meet a little earlier and run several miles before coming back to meet the rest of the group at 7:30 to finish our run.
